Hi I’m Gar Lai. A pen and ink artist/illustrator based in Hong Kong. I was born and raised in England, UK before moving to Hong Kong to pursue a career in architecture. I’ve always gravitated towards drawing by actively doodling in my spare time ever since an early age. I took this passion more seriously around 2 years ago where I experimented with different mediums and fine tuned my drawing style.  My work predominantly focuses around detailing architecture, cityscapes, and structures that interests me. I mainly work in the comfort of my small studio space and occasionally venture out for location drawing when the mood strikes.
